i am sitting in the media booth in the main sanctuary, the adults at church are having their anual thanksgiving skit competition.  our korean adults take this very seriously.  They get all dressed up and do dances, songs, and ridiculous skits for about two hours straight.  There is no other time you will see 50 year old korean men and women crunk dancing on stage to black-eyed-peas “boom boom boom”.  I for some reason have a hard time looking…it makes me feel strangely awkward…i usually have to avert my eyes to something else and look busy.  So during this time i averted my eyes to my mac and edited outtakes to “FALLING” our latest life group video.

Matter

I need to keep going. What else can I do but push forward into what matters…and what matters?

God you matter, you are matter that is more real than matter.  The true substance, ultimate reality.  More solid than this granite table, more real than the blood rushing into the capillaries of my fingers.

What can I do then but to keep pushing into what matters?  Thats right: nothing.  So I will keep running.

another youtube video… just a few minutes… another tv show, just a hour… a quick flash game… 12 minutes…

now i am tired i’ll take a nap… 2 hours… time to get something to eat… 3 hours… gone… prayer? no i don’t have time for that…

facebook 22 minutes gone, gmail…15 minutes gone…hey! whats up bro! (gchat)…19 minutes gone…

read the bible? no no i have to study i have no time for such things…
i don’t have time to live…i am busy.

it seems that much of spiritual warfare is a battle for time. its the little sins that suck away all our time… oh how we give it away so easily. the one thing that we have that is priceless, lost to useless things.
the enemy does not need to kill us, just our time.
